Services
I work with adults in individual and couples psychotherapy and I specialize in areas of depression, relationship issues and living with HIV/AIDS or other medical conditions. In psychotherapy, I help people rethink problematic patterns in their lives to gain insight and create change in meaningful ways.
I work from a psychodynamic perspective because I think it is essential to think about not just where you currently are in life, but what factors and events brought you there. I work hard to listen carefully to the issues you bring up and look to you to play an active role in making your psychotherapy meaningful by making a commitment of time, money and energy to the process.
My office is located near Union Square in New York City and is easily reached by public transportation. My fees are $150 per session for individual psychotherapy and $175 per session for couples psychotherapy. Alternatively, I currently accept Aetna, Oxford, United Behavioral Health, Affinity, Select-Health and Medicare insurance. If you have an insurance plan which I did not list, you can check if your plan allows for out-of-network benefits which means that you would pay me directly and then get reimbursed (usually between 50-80% of my fee) by your insurance plan.
